The Hotel Show, Manila, Philippines
ReCreativity was honoured to take part in the prestigious Hotel & Foodservice Suppliers Show at the SMX Convention Center in Manila, marking the soft launch of our high-end furniture line in the Philippines. The event brought together design, sustainability, and craftsmanship - a fitting stage for the creative world of James Doran-Webb.
The stand itself became a statement of creativity and natural elegance; a quiet theatre of earthy form and light. At its heart stood the raw, yet refined, Botanica Bar - an organic statement piece that captures ReCreativity’s essence of beauty drawn from nature, elevated through design. Shaped from reclaimed materials, its form carries the textures and imperfections that speak of time, renewal, and authenticity. Suspended above, the Cab Caban Light floated like a living sculpture with its delicate bleached leaves diffusing a warm, natural glow, evoking calm and wonder.
Framing this enticing centrepiece were two striking arrangements - the Kintsugi Console and Mirror on one side, and the Gravity Console and Mirror on the other - each expressing balance and simplicity through contrasting materials and graceful silhouettes.
In the corner, the commanding Illa Vinea Light Towers rose with quiet confidence, surrounded by Illa Vinea Planters spilling with soft greenery.
Yet it was the Canopy Table that drew the eye and held it. Its polished surface mirrored the molten-tin pathways that traced through the wood, catching and reflecting the lights above. Resting upon a powerful tree root, the table seemed to breathe - a dialogue between solidity and reflection, permanence and change. Encircling it, six charred Phoenix Chairs completed the story of transformation, their scorched finish embodying rebirth through fire.
Throughout the three-day show, the ReCreativity space became a meeting point for conversation and connection. Visitors lingered not just to look, but to feel… to touch the materials, to ask about their origins, and to share their own reflections on sustainability and artistry.
This debut in Manila was more than an exhibition; it was a moment of resonance. We were deeply touched by the warmth and curiosity of everyone who visited, reaffirming our belief that design grounded in integrity and imagination speaks to something universal.
ReCreativity looks forward to continuing this dialogue at Manila FAME, bringing new works and fresh expressions of our enduring commitment to beauty, honesty, and renewal.
